The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour is pleased to announce the 2010 Nike Cup, which will be played on Labor Day weekend at RTJ Trail’s Capitol Hill in Prattville, Alabama. The Ryder Cup Style event matches the top junior Golfers from the SJGT against those from Georgia’s Cannongate Junior Tour. The players that will make up the SJGT team will come from the top performers in tournaments played on Robert Trent Jones courses. Points will be awarded to the players for their performance and the top 25 points leaders will eventually make up the team.

March 6-7 – Highland Oaks Junior Classic
April 10-11 – Lakewood Junior Classic
April 17-18 – Hampton Cove Junior Classic
June 21-22 – SJGT Match Play (36 Holes Medal Play)
July 12-13 – Capitol Hill Junior Classic
July 19-20 – Ross Bridge Junior Classic
Team Breakdown
Top 6 – Female Players (12-19)
Top 4 – 12-13 Male Players
Top 7 – 14-15 Male Players
Top 8 – 16-19 Male Players
Point Breakdown
1st – 250, 2nd – 145, 3rd – 125, 4th – 115, 5th – 110, 6th – 95, 7th – 85, 8th – 75, 9th – 60, 10th – 50,
11th- 20th - 20 Points
21st- 30th – 10 Points
All ties except for first place will be split among the players that have a tying score for the tournament.
Tie Breaker for the Team spot will be based on the final 36-hole tournament scores that a player posts. If that is tied we will revert to the last round of that event and then finally to the last nine holes and so on following the tie breaking system in the USGA Rules of Golf. ***Note*** If both players are present at the final event and there is a tie to see who makes the team we will have a sudden death playoff to determine the last spot on the team.
